We strive to make your car rental experience as worry-free as possible. Therefore, all necessary insurances are included as standard when you book a car through autoshuren.nl. Local and airport taxes are also included in the price, and in most cases there are no mileage restrictions. Any additional options, such as a child seat or navigation system, can be added on the spot. This way you always know where you stand and won't face any surprises.

Insurances

When you hit the road with a rental car, it is very important that all insurances are properly arranged. Fortunately, all required insurances are included in the rental price. So you can rent a car without worries. In some cases there is an excess, but this can easily be bought off for only € 3.50 per day. Driver age

Are you a young driver and want to rent a car? In most cases you can! At some locations you can rent a car from the age of 18. In most countries there is a surcharge for young drivers, known as the young driver surcharge. Full details, the amount of this surcharge and the ages for which it applies, can be found in the rental conditions of the respective country and the rental company. Please note that some destinations have a maximum age limit for car rentals. The terms and conditions for each country and rental company will indicate whether a maximum age applies and, if so, what age it is.

Unlimited mileage

Car rental at Autoshuren.nl almost always includes unlimited mileage, so you have the flexibility to go wherever you want. This is especially useful in areas like the United States, where long distances are covered.

24/7 emergency number

Of course, something can always go wrong. If, despite all precautions, a problem does arise, we are always there for you. During business hours, you can easily contact us by phone or email. For emergencies outside office hours, an emergency number is available, listed on the car rental voucher.

THE DIFFERENT RATES

For the different destinations where you can rent a car, there are different types of rates and what is included. In most cases, the mileage is unlimited. North America

For North America, there are three types of rates - Fully Inclusive, Alamo Gold & Alamo Gold Underage

The Fully Inclusive rate includes:

  • Unlimited mileage.
  • VAT.
  • Local surcharges.
  • Airport tax.
  • Theft insurance.
  • CDW insurance (rental car damage coverage).
  • Extended Protection.

If you choose Fully Inclusive + GPS, the cost of the navigation system is also included.

The Alamo Gold* rate includes:

  • A full tank of fuel (except in New York).
  • Surcharge for up to three additional drivers over the age of 25.

If you choose Alamo Gold + GPS, the cost of the navigation system is also included.

The Alamo Gold Underage* rate includes:

  • Surcharge for drivers under 25.

* The minimum rental period for Alamo Gold and Alamo Gold Underage is 4 days.

Europe, South & Central America and Oceania
